Wheel repairs made easy
Most people will tell you that to get a wheel repaired properly, you have to take it off your car. But if you’re time poor or not keen on the cost of workshop repairs, it’s easy to put off getting it done.
Luckily for you, we’ve spent over 10 years developing and refining mobile wheel repair technology, that does top quality repairs for scratches, gutter rash and stone chips, while the wheel is still on your car.

Our mobile repair technology
Our repair equipment is capable of machining, polishing, wheel painting and clear coating all alloys to bring them back to their original ‘showroom’ condition, usually in 90 minutes or less. We can carry out repairs on more complex wheels, and colour match to Original Manufacturing Standards (OMS).
While our Adelaide service does highly effective wheel and rim repairs on gutter rash, stone chips, peeling paint, scratches and blemishes, we can’t repair buckles or cracks. Machine-faced wheel repairs
The Wheelman Adelaide wheel and rim repair has also developed a mobile repair for machine-faced wheels. Provided as the damage is contained to the outer rim and not too far into the spokes of a machine-faced wheel, we can repair it while it’s still on your car. If you’re want to know whether we can repair your machine-faced wheel, text us a photo on 0490 040 409 so we can check the extent of the damage.
Stories from our customers
A West Lakes customer was planning on selling her C200 Mercedes Benz but had gutter rash on three of her wheels.
While two of the wheels only required minor repair, one was significantly damaged. What’s more, they were Mercedes Benz’s latest machine-faced wheels, and so needed specialised treatment. With our careful approach and attention to detail, we were able to have the wheels looking pristine, with a guaranteed long-lasting result.
Our customer was able to sell her car, with the $390 repair job helping her get a substantial amount more for it than she otherwise would have.
“I am so surprised – I didn’t know this could be done. Their wheel and rim repair service is outstanding. Lachie the Technician was punctual, polite and a perfectionist. Thank you The Wheelman Adelaide.”
Frequently asked questions
1. Sand and or machine the damaged areas
2. Prep the wheel for painting
3. Paint the wheel then paint over with clear coat
This brings the wheel back to its original colour and condition.
For wheels with a machined or polished finish, we repolish it and apply paint if and where necessary and paint over with a clear coat to preserve the polished finish.

If the wheel should get wet, you will notice the water will bead up on the painted areas. It’s best to leave this water beading to dry on its own throughout the first week – particularly in the first 48 hours.
