Many people who call us about alloy rim repair in Canberra & surrounding areas ask us how far out of Canberra does The Wheelman travel?

Of course there is a commercial realism as to the distance we can travel, so it does sometimes come down to the number of individual alloy wheel repair jobs you require.

However, we will go ‘as far as is reasonably possible or required’ is the answer.

The Wheelman has repaired alloy rims as far down as Calwell, and have also done wheels in and around Wanniassa, Kambah and Greenway suburbs. On the western side, we have a couple of car dealerships who utilise our services in Phillip, and we’ve repaired wheels around suburbs such as Farrer, Mawson, Lyons, Curtin and Coombs.

North of Canberra, Belconnen has been a regular stop for us, and we often receive a number of calls from this area requiring gutter rash repairs, alloy wheel scratch repair, mobile wheel repairs to painted and machine faced wheels, “fix my alloy” mobile repairs, and also buckles and resprays.

Please note though, we cannot fix buckles or do resprays from a mobile format.

While we talk of Belconnen, there are many suburbs around it such as Macquarie, Hawker, Holt, Bruce, Dunlop, Melba, Franklin and Mitchell.

In from there and following the Barton Highway in towards the Federal Highway, we cover Watson, Downer, Lyneham, Braddon, Ainslie and Hackett, as well as Reid, Campbell and Russell closer into the Canberra capital itself.

We aim to complete high quality alloy wheel repairs at a price and level of convenience that suits our customers, saving you time and money, but safe in the knowledge that you’re with a reputable company with a great reputation.

However, there are occasions where the damage is beyond what is possible to complete using a mobile repair format, and at that point we are happy to assist with the different options which are available, including us taking your wheels back to our Sydney workshop for a full refurbishment.
